As healthcare becomes increasingly complex, the need for competent, confident infusion nurses is paramount, and effective onboarding and training programs are crucial for maintaining high standards of infusion care. We are excited to announce a new initiative designed for infusion nurse leaders dedicated to improving their onboarding processes, training methodologies, and personnel management practices.
Held the day before the NICA Annual Conference—which is expected to draw over a thousand industry professionals-- this full-day workshop will adopt a train-the-trainer model, equipping attendees with advanced strategies for optimizing infusion nurse onboarding, implementing best practices in preceptorship, competency validation, and personnel management requirements. Participants will earn continuing nursing education contact hours while gaining practical tools and insights from experts to enhance their training programs and support their clinical teams effectively. Whether refining existing processes or developing new strategies, this workshop will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to drive excellence within their teams.
